What to wear to a high school mixer?

The dress is cute! But yea, thats way too dressy for a mixer, and im sure all the boys and other girls will be dressed casually, so you dont want to be over-done. Well unless you like to stand out. Nothing wrong with that (: but anyways, i would keep the yellow heels, and pair it with dark colored skinny jeans, a white tank top under a short sleeved yellow blazer if you can find one. then add silver accessories! that would be a nice outfit. Its not plain, and its not too dressy. Have fun at the mixer! (:
