Suppose I asked a Girl I know through my brother if I could go down on her, would she think I am disgusting?

I just have this thought that any guy will say yes to a ******* but I assume it isn't the case for the other way around. I am not a pervert but I just have a really strong urge to express love for a girl. I am 18 and I know it is hormones but I wouldn't ask the girl for vaginal sex...I just really want to make a girl feel happy. Am I odd for this? Girls, what would you say to someone who hints at this towards you and doesnt look like a domineering or overpowering jerk.
