How to flirt with guys at the pool?

i am a girl and i am going to the public pool tomorrow with my best friend and we plan to do a lot of flirting. the only problem is i have no idea how to flirt! i am really shy and my friend is really overpowering and outgoing, and im just afraid i will be left in the dust while shes talking up a couple of boys. last time we were at the pool she started flirting with this guys and i couldnt even find an opening to talk! and the boy also called me boring :P. so, how do i become as outgoing and fun as my friend so we can both get some guys tomorrow?
