Did any Churches collaborate with or forbid them members to challenge the Nazi regime?

I can understand a desire to survive but at least some other countries took a neutral stance - as I suppose some churches did. My question is were there churches in Germany that actively sought to advance their position by agreeing to collaborate with, or actively passing pro-Nazi doctrines or for instance punishing members who challenged the Nazi regime?
