Why are female characters in videogames overpowered?

They used to be stuck in the roles of medics and healers but lately I find female characters especially bosses to be insanely overpowered. It's like if you see a female enemy an alarm bell should go off because chances are ***** be overpowered. What's the deal? It's not often you get a female boss but when you do chances are she is going to be insanely and almost sadistically overpowered.
