What is a church revival for?

Our church is having a revival and we have had two speakers to visit. The first speaker spoke very well and gave us all power. The second speaker is a woman and don't get me wrong I have no problem with a woman being empowered but it is my opinion that a man and woman are to walk side by side in unity, not one in front of the other. I have been getting pretty down because she always asks the women to come and pray for everyone and leaves the men in the church out. She doesn't tell us to stay seated but she doesn't say come on men and pray but she does invite the women to come up to pray. Is it bad for me to not feel good about this or am I wrong and should empower women to overpower men and not allow men to be the head of anything. I am not being funny about this I am being serious. Are women to be placed above men or are we to be equal.
