Is the F-18 Super Hornet perfect for the wars the US is fighting today?

F/A-18s are good, they are highly maneuverable, but I think General Atomics MQ-9 Reapers and MQ-1 Predators serve better for the wars USA is fighting today. Remember, not all the wars can be won using F/A-18s and UAVs.
